New Surrey Performing Arts Library run by volunteers
The award-winning Surrey Performing Arts Library (SPAL) collection is one of the three largest collections of Performing Arts loan material in England. Surrey County Council, which owns the collection, intends to transfer the management of the collection to NewSPAL, a charitable trust. NewSPAL will be setting up a new performing arts materials hire service in the charity sector, independent from Surrey County Council.
The new service will initially be based at Bourne Hall, Ewell, Surrey. It will start on 22 August 2022 and you will be able to register as a member, browse the catalogue and reserve items from that date.

Your support can help us change the world.
190,271 under 18-year-olds were referred to mental health services between April and June 2021. A 134% increase from the previous year. And there are currently 374,000 under
18-year-olds on the official waiting list for NHS mental health care.
Behind each statistic is a young person who has been failed. This is an emergency, but it doesn't have to be this way - and it's thanks to people like you that make us confident we can change this.
Your donation means we can provide support to professionals, parents, children and young people, as well as continue to campaign to end the root causes of mental health crises. So please do add your voice to our campaign. No young person should have to wait months to get the mental health support they need. It's time to #EndTheWait.
Also, if you can, we encourage you to share our website with a parent or a young person who might need it one day. And there are always little ways to stay involved in our movement - visit Youngminds.org.uk to find out more.
Together, we will make sure every young person gets the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what. Thank you.
